You have to load these files in the config.sys. Check the readme for what to add. This can be really tricky, so pay attention to what you are doing.

The problem is fixed. The problem was that I'd removed the sound card which the cd rom was attached too by connections. I cannot use the cdrom without the soundcard on the motherboard because the cdrom-audio is built-in by Compaq. No jumper settings or other slots for the cdrom. Thanks for your help anyway.
