I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can defragment the Pagefile.  Download the Trial version of Diskeeper 4.0 (www.execsoft.com) it will now defrag the Pagefile.

To create a new Pagefile:  Right-click My Computer.  Select Properties.  Go to the Performance TAB and Click the Change button.  From here you can resive or move the Pagefile to a different Partition.

Diskeeper will not defragment pagefile.sys.  Read the help file with diskeeper.  But thanks for the second part of your answer,  that is really helpful
