Is there a decent 2D animation package for windows 95 that works simular to DPaint 5 on the Amiga, and also works in true color?????
I know of one good one, Pro Motion, but this only works in 256 colors. Are there any others?

The best one I used to use (which runs in 95) is Animator Pro from Autodesk. Great tools, and reasonably priced. I used it for many years doing cel-type stuff. I think Journey still sells it at a student price. They are at http://www.journeyed.com.

Another program, Painter was great for doing cel with it's
frame-stack capabilties.

Believe it or not though, for $99 you can own Paint Shop Pro and use it's new feature in ver. 5 called Animation Shop. download this from http://www.jasc.com and check it out. If you are just looking to experiment with 2D on a PC for little money, this is the way to go.

For anyone else looking for the answer to this question, I just received the full registered version of Pro Motion and would recomend it to anyone. It is based on Dpaint 5 for the Amiga home computer and it beats anything else i`ve ever seen on the PC. It dose however still only use 256 colors.
A demo can be downloaded from http://cosmigo.com/promotion/
