Hi

I'm writing a simple text editor....
Let's say the user has created a new text file from my application....

While the application is still on, the user has invoked another application to edit the same file...

How do my application detect the change & refresh when the user has returned back to my application???

Thanks in advance... :-)

When you open the text file in your application set the CFile::shareExclusive file mode and you wont have to worry about it.
