I want to drag a file from eXplorer. And drop it on... say a picBox control.
How do I do this?
(I just need the path and the filename of the file)

Try this code

Private Sub Form_Load()
    Picture1.OLEDropMode = 1
End Sub

Private Sub Picture1_OLEDragDrop(Data As DataObject, Effect As Long, Button As Integer, Shift As Integer, X As Single, Y As Single)
    Picture1.Picture = LoadPicture(Data.Files(1))
End Sub
