A query's SQL property is a TStrings object, so it has the limitation of TStrings. As my test result, it must be less than 32K. Sometimes we have hundres of SQL to execute, then we break them up to 2-3 parts to avoid error.

dwwang, I only rejected your answer to see if anybody knows if it is possible to break the 32k size limit.  If nobody knows how then I'll give you the points.

Thanks,
joe

No problem, I'm also eager to know whether one can break the limit. ^_^
