what type of cpu (chip?) can i use to upgrade my 486 epson
actionnote 660c to a pentium chip???????

You can't...  That's the problem with notebooks.  Because 486 uses a entirely different chipset motherboard than Pentium, you can't upgrade a 486 to Pentium without replacing the motherboard.  But with the notebook limitation on motherboard size and fit so forth, it's impossible to upgrade.  You can however try to contact Epson to see if they provide upgrade module for your 486, chances are even if they do, it will be a 486 at faster speed.
