Simple question on creating an ActiveX application?

I see so many samples on active X controls on different books. They all seem to be simple Active X controls. What I dont see is samples of an Active X control that looks like a windows app with
a menu and a toolbar. How do you do that. Is there anywhere I can find any
doc on it. I'm trying to write an ActiveX app with full menu system the
pulls up dialogs, a tool bar and status bar. Not for the net of course but
for an intranet.

Thanks

Your question is not simple. However, I will give it a try.
1. Derive your user interface classes inside your ActiveX control. For example, a dialog or a frame window class with menus, tool bars, and status bars. This is probably the hard part.
2. Implement the functions you need in the derived classes.
3. Create a method that another application can call to create/display/activate the dialog or frame window.
4. Add other properties, methods, and events as usual.
