What resolution are you scanning the picture in at? It sounds like you need to drop the resolution a hair and try again.<br />

reply i wentinto the bios and changed it to epp...but it is still doing the same...i get theses lines with preview or scan...using the image software provided with the scaner...ulead 4.oplus<br />

finally got printer port,and printer to work..but the image will not show up in preview or scan..it looks like diagonal lines, back and forth, back and forth..like a tv.<br />
it is parrel scanner..pent 75,win95,16mb ram<br />
