lanmanserver services

when i start one of my
Nt workstations, i receive a dialog box telling me that one of my services did not start.
after checking the event viewer, i found out that the computer browser services did not start because of a dependency that did not start(lanmanserver)
any idea?

1)Reapply service pack3
2)In control panel/services make sure the browser service or lanmanserver service is set to start automatically
