Font size

Yesterday I was working in Photoshop 5 when I realized that my type tool won't type any font over 33 points. I checked out my other software and I could get larger font with no problems but photoshop converts the pixel size from example 50 to 5 and I get a message, " enter measurement between 1 and 33" Have I accidently set some preference? Have you ever heard of this, I have been able to use the large type in the past, many times.

Have you checked to see if other fonts will work in a larger size?  Maybe it is just that font?  I just checked and I don't have that problem.

I tried with several fonts, and also in other applications,it's never happened before and I've used large fonts in Photoshop many times with no problem, I have Photoshop installed on my desktop and my notebook and I've never had a problem on my desktop and this font problem just started yesterday in the notebook. I'm feeling like I'll have to reinstall the application. But I have a lot of filters installed and I'm afraid I'll have to reinstall those as well. Oh well, thanks for the comment.

I reistalled Photoshop, with no ill effects to my filters and the type tool is working fine again. Erica if you make your comment an answer you can have my points, thanks for your response,
