I'm running on Netscape 2.0 and find I crash alot. Would like to upgrade to Netscape 3.0. I'm on a Mac IICi, system 7.1 with 20 megs ram. I will be upgrading  ram to 32 and system 7.5.3. Will this be OK? Where can I get Netscape 3.0 for Mac and is Netscape 4.0 for PowerPC only? Suggestions appreciated.

you should be able to run netscape 3 and 4 on that computer...Your only issue might be speed as they tend to take more ram and are slower. Its really a judgement call on your part...You can find them on netscapes ftp site....ftp.netscape.com

Guess I'm not quite up to this procedure. When I go here..ftp.netscape.com
I see a list of directories and have clicked on them but they don't go anywhere...can't seem to search what I'm looking for. What is this?

ok to make it easier....just put: ftp://uiarchive.uiuc.edu/pub/www/netscape/communicator/4.08/english/mac/68k/navigator_standalone/Nav4.08_EX_68K.bin (copy and paste of course) into your browsers URL. that will automatically download navigator 4.08 for 68k macs.
