It is a dumb question, but I can't find anything anywhere. How can I drop my knife? I don't need it and I am carrying too many things. I can't find any keys that drops it...

In general, is there any help with RE?

You can't drop any items unless you get to a storage box...  There are 4 or 5 of these boxes spread all around.  You'll be able to unload the un-needed stuffes only then...

Found it! thanks. I keep on trying the tall thing next to the bed and typewriter. I didn't noticed that knee high box right next to the door.
