Right now I'm on a server that doesn't allow a cgi-bin on my site or the use of cgi files.  Is there any way to create a Guest Book, &/or message board without cgi?  I tried mailto; however, I need the messages to be posted to the web. Can anyone help?

There are numerous public guestbook providers that you can use to have your own...

one nice one is:

http://www.guestbook.de/index.html

and there are 40 more here:

hope this helps,

Sorry!  I was wondering if there was a way to do this without going off site.  I'd like to keep this page on my server if at all possible.  I've checked out some of the guest book providers and didn't find one I really liked.

Without CGI enabled, there is no way to do this onsite. You could, however, use ASP (if you are running IIS and have scripts enabled) or JavaScript (only few browser support this and some people have turned it off) to do the same in which case this is the wrong topic area...
