I've created an OLE Control that uses tooltips in several areas of it. It works in VC but it doesn't work in VB (Where it is destined to work).

I guess is because i can only get it to work in VC if the control gets the focus, by the way is there any way to make the tooltip appear wen the mouse is over my control even wen it has no focis???

And how can i make tooltips apear in vb ?? ??? (i've tried a form with only my control)

Hi.
Check MS Knowledge-Base article Q141871.
You may also want to try to install a mouse hook (see the help for SetWindowsHookEx) to relay the messages to the tool-tip control, I've done that and it works great.
