I have tried to play MP3's and also .ra's , and I have get the same answer that MMSYSTEM281 this file could not be played.  Please check the file or install a driver for it.  I figured that I might not have Real in my computer so I went and got it, and when I tried to install it it says that I do have it???  If I have real, should I at least be able to play a .ra's ??  My sound card is a Sound Blaster 64 AWE.  Should I be able to play MP3's also??

Thanks for your response

Download the latest Windows Media Player 5.2 from MS via Win98's windows update.  By default Win98 can't play MP3, but with Windows media player 5.2, you can play MP3, RA etc.
