In the mail database, when I want to "move a message into a folder", in the dialog box all the folders appear, expanded.

How can I make them appear collapsed when I open the dialog box?

The command that is used (@postedcommand([folder]) to show the dialog box of folders does not have a parameter to collapse the folders.  However, you can select the messages you want, use the shift and ctrl combinations to select multiples and then drag the messages to the folder without using the dialog box.

hope this helps

There is absolutely no way of changing this. Trust me.

I have looked into this  - I cannot see any possible way of changing anything to allow the folders to appear collapsed. You have to just take it on the chin - it can't be done !!
