Just installed the programme; followed all instructions in manual, and I keep getting this message:

What does it mean, please? And, what do I need to do to start creating a webpage (trial one), please???

It basically means that the installation of the server (Personal Web Server) 1. didn;t work, 2. not configured correctly 3. is named incorrectly.

Try using http://localhost rather that http://angela

I would recommend that you unistall your program.  run Scan disk, defrag, and then reinstall.  But, when you reinstall, make sure nothing else is running and make sure you dn not have any virus programs running in the background.

I gave up trying for a while; then found that I actually needed to go into Settings,
Personal Web Server, - and Start it.
There is also an option to set it to run at Startup.

Just a tip for the next inexperienced Frontpage user.

Could this question now be closed, thanks?
