Try registering the DAO dll. Goto the start menu and choose run then enter regsvr32 xxx where xxx refers to the destination of your dao350.dll. For example

regsvr32 c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\dao350.dll

Let me know how it goes

I am not sure what pview is but it sounds like your dao350.dll is corrupted. Have you tried reinstalling VB. If this does not solve the problem, then it may be that another application is using the dll and prevents you from reinstalling it. You need to clean it out and start again. Another thing to try is to copy the dll from another system where it works ok and then use regsvr32 to reregister a good dll.

Keep me posted.
