I am not sure what pview is but it sounds like your dao350.dll is corrupted. Have you tried reinstalling VB. If this does not solve the problem, then it may be that another application is using the dll and prevents you from reinstalling it. You need to clean it out and start again. Another thing to try is to copy the dll from another system where it works ok and then use regsvr32 to reregister a good dll.<br />

My problem started when I uninstalled couple of third party Active X controls on my Pc. <br />
I cannnot run my Vb5 Projects . When the project comes<br />
&nbsp; set db=opendatabase(app.path &amp;.....)line<br />
it just hits error 429.<br />
I looked at &nbsp;my references DAO3.5 Library checked. &nbsp;I installed &nbsp;VB5 again if any dll is corrupted . But It is still not working.<br />

My problem started when I uninstalled couple of third party Active X controls on my Pc. 
I cannnot run my Vb5 Projects . When the project comes
  set db=opendatabase(app.path &.....)line
it just hits error 429.
I looked at  my references DAO3.5 Library checked.  I installed  VB5 again if any dll is corrupted . But It is still not working.
