Is there another utility, instead of Norton Speed Disk 3.5x/4.0 (i dont find it!) for defragment a Mac HD???
The Mac is a PowerMac 90 Mhz, 24 MB RAM and 500 SCSI HD (very fragmented) running System 7.5.3.
If you only know Norton, dont answer, i know this!, my question is for another util! (someone tell me that Mac comes with a defrag like win95...)
Thanks and forget my english.

I've been trying TechTool Pro 2.1.1 (MicroMat Systems) which has a new optimization feature that will defragment disks as well as individual files. While I'm not the kind of person to adopt a new technology early, I find TechTool Pro very helpful in diagnosing (like Norton) as well as maintenance.

Don't confuse this with the freeware TechTool, which has some basic feature to fix things but is nothing like it's commercial big brother.  --KS

do Macs have a built-in disk defragmenter, like Windows?
