I have been able to display a Word document to a browser when using frames.  But does anyone else have any ideas on how to display files in the browser???

What do you mean by display files in browser?  Do you mean displaying the content of files other than Word document or displaying content (files name/size) of certain folder?

You can do it with Internet Explorer just linking to the document. With Netscape, the user have to open another program, in the explorer it's opened inside the browser.

You are right.  I was hoping that maybe someone else knew of a creative way to show MS documents.  But, it appears the two options are to just use a link or to utilize frames...  Oh well.  Thanks fateros.
