I'm trying to get a pair of CGI scripts to run, and they give this server error: Premature end of script headers: /usr/www/users/mysite/cgi-bin/rate.cgi

Can this info help anyone solve my problem or point me in a direction to troubleshoot?

Oh, and this isn't the path to these scripts either!

ANY Script will have to print a file header, in the general form of:
content-type: text/html

notice the second line, which is empty!
your browser will know that your header has ended when it encounters an empty line (2 consecutive LF's)
other content informations are to be written in lines following the content-type.
For more information (such as other content types), check out the official CGI Primerpage at

hope this helps,
jp
