HP printer problem

After upgrading from win95 to win98 following happend:

HP laserprinter 6P has a misalignment between text and graphics.
If I print a table from parodox the lines are 2 mm shifted to the left against the text.
This also occurs in WP,Word,Acrobat Reader etc.
Reinstalling the printer driver gave no improvement.
Using the same printer on a portable with win95 no problem.
On the HP site and Microsoft site i did not find an explanation.
