What causes my system to lock-up after disconnecting from the internet.  In my system tray, if I end task the RNAAP line, system is OK.  What is this file and why does it causes lock-up.

It's a known bug in the original release of Win95, update to DUN1.2 would solve your problem.

I upgraded my DUN as you suggested, however, I still get the same problem.  Again, if I delete RNAAP from the systray.  It releases the system.

Thanks for your help.

There are 2 patches necessary for this update to work.  You need to install the DUN patch AND the Winsock patch.  If you download and install the Winsock 2.0 upgrade patch (search for ws2setup on Microsoft's web site) it should fix your problems.

I tried different providers. The only one my PC accepted was AOl (because of the Software?). All other providers which uses the "dfü-netzwerk" - the german term - couldn't be used with my PC. There always came the note "error in rnaap.exe"
