I have ported a catalog to the WWW via ASP interfacing an Access database.  In additon, I need to set up a shopping cart feature in ASP.  Can anyone give a fairly detailed answer to where I might find an example of such?  I would like to do this using session level variables, but I don't know how "big" to make a session("cart") variable.  I need a dynamic session variable to hold the sessionid, the partid, and the quantity.

You can have a look at http://webreview.com/97/11/21/feature/index.html

This explains indetail, various stages in setting up a shopping cart with required snippets of code, database tables required. I think it'll be quite useful to you.

can go through http://www.activeserverpages.com/learn/cart.asp also for a shopping cart. This gives the entire source code you need.

If you're interested in commercial components, can have a look at
