Does anyone know where I can find a Javascript Guestbook (only JavaScript not in combination with CGI)?

I also need an add a link JavaScript. If you know of one please also answer the other question I have posted.

Thanks

Oppps, just put last comment added in the middle of text, sorry
should be:

In case of Guest book you need to store all posts in one place
So in ANY case you need to have ability to
store data in one place, common for all clients.
Where? Doesn't matter, but you need to have it somewhere
But this should be server, (in order to return HTML document with GB content posts to clients)
So this requires SERVER-SIDE solutions in anyway.
This can be CGI, server-side Java servlet, Server-side JavaScript or something else...BUT at the same computer where HTTP SERVER
running...

JavaScript have no other abilities to read data and to store it on server (exept using CGI)

This is why this is impossible to do with JavaScript 'only'.
Sorry, this isn't answer you expected, but this is ONLY
answer to your question.

The only way I can suggest for you
Just go to
www.lpage.com and GET FREE GUESTBOOK SERVICE
for any page at any server.

Well you are right, this isn't the answer I hoped for, but at least now I know what to do. Thanks kollegov.

Hi kollegov,

My name is Frank Hoofd (frankhoofd). "mail2" gave me permission to use his password to contact you directly.

"jbirk" was answering a question of me, but I haven't heard from him in ten days now. My question is called "Question for jbirk" from "frankhoofd". It is a "locked" question (230 points). Perhaps you can help me with my JavaScript search engine.

You can find my site at:
http://members.xoom.com/frankhoofd/a_page.htm

If you can help me please add a comment to "Question for jbirk". I will then reject the answer and you can add your "proposed answer".

Thanks,
Frank

BTW: I could not find my question in the locked category (thought it still is locked). Perhaps you weren't able to find it either so the address is:
