SQL validation program for Cisual Basic 5.0

I need a validation program from SQL that works on Visual Basic 5.0 with the codes that it has.

Please be a little more specific
Look a this code
I supposse that you have a public Database called DB already open
function ValidateSQL(SQLString as string) as long
Dim r as recordset
On error goto VError
Set r=db.openrecordset(sqlstring,dbopensnapshot)
ValidateSQL=0
r.close
Exit sub
VError:
ValidateSQL=err.number
end sub

This simple program returns 0 when success,else returns a code error

It could be a very simple method to test validate an sql string
,but I guess that you are looking something better.
