Notes Mail Archiving

I notice that by default, a  Notes archive does not place documents into folders. Is there any way of archiving documents into their respective folders ?

The simplest would be to create an agent that would copy the document to another databse which is a copy of the original.

1. Create a copy of your mail database
2. This new copy is now your archive DB.
3. Create a new agent in your mail DB that will copy documents older than however long you like to your archive DB.
4. Have your agent also delete the original doc in your active mail database after moving the file to your archived DB.

Thats all.

Thanks, although a good solution - It's not really what I want to do. I can't really do this for 800 users.

Yes you can just creat the agent and the database you want and then have your users use this new database as the design template for there mail. Now they all have this agent in there mail DB.

Yes, that's all very good - but We still have to create a copy of everyone's mail DB's - also, there is all the pasting from exsisting archive files etc. Also, if new folders are set up in their mail files after the new copy is created - these will not be transferred to the copy because it's not a replica.
