Why does my 11ci lock up while on the web and only on certain cites. I have to restart by turning all power off.

You don't say what browser you are using. I assume it is Netscape and type 1 errors are memory errors. Go in the Netscape folder and click once on the Netscape icon to highlight it. Now go to the file menu and select get info. At the bottom of that screen is preferred memory. You can change this allocation manually and I recommend you change it to at least 10,000k. Now close that screen and give it a test. Some web sites have more graphics and text, etc that grab memory in order to display it on your screen. You are freezing because your browser needs more memory to handle those sites.
