IIS 4.0 in windows NT

In my event viewer (Applications) I get the following error :
Stop CI CI Service ID : 4147
"The IISADMIN service is not available, so virtual roots cannot be indexed. "

WHy does the error appear and how to resolve it .

After this error it says
Info  Ci    CI service ID 4137
"I has started for catalog d:\inetpub\catalog.wci. "

This is because you have the Index Server running, but not IIS. Go to Control Panel / Add/remove programs, select Options Pack and remove Microsoft Index Server.
