unzip files

i cannot find an unzip file for windows 98.  Do i need to download one off the internet?  If so, where?  if windows is supposedly made chiefly for the internet, why was there no unzip file put in the package?

Ken,

Yes, you do need to download an Unzip program off the Internet.  Below is the URL (Web Site) to download such a program:

http://www.winzip.com/ddchome.htm

This program is called WinZip and is one of the most popular out there.  There are many different compression (so they are called) programs on the market.  So it is upto you to find the one you like the best.  At least WinZip will give you a good start.  As for Microsoft not including one with Win98....well that would best be answered by them, as I have no idea.
