I found an example program named "recordWAVEFile" in MSDEV's HELP.Now I can record sound, but the program use WAVE Format. I want to use PCM Format and save the sound in PCM Format. What function and structure should I modify or add to the program? Since it's the first time that I use Visual C++, please tell me some details. Thank you, my friend.

Luckily, uncompressed WAVE format is PCM format. I guess the example program does use PCM format. You may verify it by using Sound Recorder that comes with Windows. Open the recorded file and select the menu File/Properties.
