if it is COMMUNICATOR GO TO EDIT, PREFERENCES and THEN CHOOSE FONTS, there you will FIND the SYSTEM FONTS. NETSCAPE RELY of WINDOWS FONTS. so if you want to install a FONT you have to do for WINDOWS 98 or 95 and then do what I said ABove and you will be able to CHoose the FOnt. go to control panel FOnt, Install

If you want to add fonts to your system and thus netscape messenger will have acsess to these fonts by the font pull down menu bar.
unzip or copy and paste your font file(s) to the FONTS folder in your controll panel.

I have already got these fonts on my computer in the windows 98 fonts.  When I want to access some of these fonts from Netscape 4.5 mail program they are not there.  Again, my question is how can I put them there when I need them.  They are not available to me to use.

I think NS will show only True Type fonts by default, so if the ones you are looking for are Postscript, you can't access them in NS from the font pull-down menu. To see the PS fonts, go to edit/preferences/fonts and choose the one you want from either variable or fixed dropdown list. Worked for me in NS 4.5.
