I made a program which includes the winsock control but when I open up multiple instances of this app and tell both apps to connect to a website, download a page, and log out AND I then shut down one of the apps my entire WIN95 crashes. Is there a unique way to properly shut down winsock besides calling the winsock1.close method? Or is this a possible bug with VB again?
my experience with the winsock is a client/server program, i know that to close a connection, the client must send a message to the server saying i want to close the connection and then the server close
