Mouse Cordinates in NS4

I´m trying to capture the clients mouse x and y cordinates using J-Script combinated with DHML(IE4) or Layers(NS4). I´ve found a way to do so in IE4 (event.clientX) but I haven´t found any way to do so in NS4.
Please help me solve this problem.

This code shows the XY coordinated in the window.status in Netscape

<LAYER NAME="Water" TOP=0 LEFT=250 text="#000000" BGCOLOR="#FFFF00" height="99%" width="50%" onMouseOut="window.status=''">
<script>
function MoveEvent(e) {
      window.status=e.pageX + "," + e.pageY;
      return false;
}
</script>
</LAYER>

<script>
// capturing events for the "water" layer

var layWater = document.Water;
layWater.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEMOVE);
layWater.onLoad=resetcapture;

function resetcapture() {
      layWater.captureEvents(Event.MOUSEMOVE);
}
layWater.onMouseMove = mouseWaterMoveHandler;

function mouseWaterMoveHandler(e) {
      layWater.MoveEvent(e);
}
</script>
