NO PROBLEM! Just install free ActiveMovie from M$ and use MediaPlayer component from Delphi

I've been getting the following errors:

Project Project1.exe raised exception class EMCIDeviceError with message 'MMSYSTEM263 This is not a registered MCI Device.'.  Process stopped.  Use Step or Run to continue.

Exception EMCIDeviceError in module PROJECT1.EXE at 00033EDF.  MMSYSTEM263 This is not a registered MCI Device.

Ready for the strange part?  This same mpeg movie runs perfectly when I double-click on it.

So, I can run MPEG movies in Windows 95...but not when I use the TMediaPlayer in Delphi 3.

This is really frustrating me.

Someone please help.

I used TMediaPlayer and it worked fine. I had installed activemovie.
Maybe, the problem is windows. Reinstall windows, install activemovie, delphi a try again.

I never was able to get MPEG to work in Delphi 3 on my machine.  I'm giving up for now.
