Setting General Options from the MSACC20.INI

Can I set the Viw/Options/General-Show Status Bar setting from the MSACC20.INI in Access v2.0.

no.  

You must set it from a function.  Can't do it in the ini file.
Here is the code to do it:

Application.setoption "Show Status Bar", False
