I just upgraded my Performa 6320 to OS8.  It has 16MB of RAM.  I was able to run with virtual memory off before the upgrade.  Now that I've upgraded it won't let me turn it off, and says I need more memory to run with it off.  Therefore, I can't even run RAM Doubler.  Does OS8 require more memory, or have a new minimum memory requirement to run with VM off?

16 MB is very few memory to work with OS 8. What is your free RAM size. You will not be able to run RAM Doubler with OS8 (it doesn't work with it). So your only choices are to install more memory, use the VM or downgrade your OS-version.
