Hello:

I am trying yo create a shared library using a bunch of
C files. I am working on Sun Solaris platform. I have been trying to create a makefile file to do this but failed. Can anyone (expert) out there show me an example of how to create a makefile to create a shared library in Sun Solaris?

Ok. Please assume you have two C files namely my1.c and my2.c and that the name of the library I want to create is named myshared.so

Thanks

Try http://www.whitefang.com/unix/faq_7.html#SEC79
If that doesn't work, try compiling with the -G flag.
