communicating two Delphi applications throught a Novell Netware network

I made an application in Delphi 3, and I need that this application send notofication data (not files!) like mailslots or IPC in Windows to another computer with the same application throught a Novell Netware 4.x network or higher; I need and IPX/SPX component or can use other communication component?

You can use normal tcp/ip sockets, if of course tcp/ip support is installed on your Novell network.  It doesn't matter that you use IPX or not, because in NetWare 4.x IP packets are tunneled in IPX packets.  So you use IPX anyway.  Standard tcp/ip sockets are supported in Delphi.

Maybe a better solution is to use the Novell NetWare SDK.  It has Delphi and VB libraries for NetWare 4.x.  It allows you to use the NetWare API in Delphi.  That API covers far more than communication between computers, so you will have to do some reading.  But it could also give you some inspiration.

The NetWare SDK can be downloaded from the Novell site (you can select to download only the Delphi libraries).
