I used vb setup wizard to create a distribute program.
After I finished,  I tried to install that program
in my computer and it work fine, and I tried to install
in different computer,  some is fine but some gave me
an error like vb40032.dll is required. But that dll is already inside the setup program.

How to make a perfect setup program or what should I use ?

Make sure to check the setup.lst file before using the setup.exe. It has all the information the setup.exe uses for the file destinations and stuff. You can change alot of the setup.lst file to suit your needs. See books online for example code and other info.

I think the system you are installing does not contain that Dll so see to it that the system contains that dll if it does not see the dll path in your system and then install that Dll in the testing system in the same path. This shall work is not please notify the exact reason for that.

You can customize the entire setup program by working with the code in devstudio/vb/setupkit. This is the project folder with sample code for building your own setup program. (Don't start editing it until you make a backup copy.) You can look at setup.lst in the setup program you already generated to get a general idea about how the file destinations are coded. Good luck.

If you or your company can spend some money then it is best to go for " install sheild "
tool which is used for doing set up then that is the best one for doing setup and later on maintaining the setups. ok temporarily for now you just see whether that perticular dll is properly registring or not in the other system which you have tested. because normally you only get this problem when the dll wont register porperly. i shall encourage any further reasons for this question.

The setup toolkit I mentioned earler contains the actual files which are used by the setup wizard, so be sure to only work with a copy of them by making a complete copy of the .../setupkit/setup1 folder and renaming it. Go to the new folder and open setup1.vpb in Visual Basic to work with the code.
