Office 97 problem

In attempting to work on a power point presentation at home on my Mac, I receive a prompt stating a system error has occurred of type 11 with Power Point.

I have :      Rebuilt the desktop
            Rebuilt the P-RAM
Run disk repair ( it repaired the hard drive)
            Reinstalled Microsoft Office 98

I still get the same message.  The message appears only when attempting to run Power Point.  Word & Excel run normal without any problems.

What advice can you give me?

thanks
wes

I have also found that removing all the microsoft extensions from the extensions folder - (everything beginning with MS or Microsoft).
Restart with extension off (see if it works like this first). If it does, we know it is an extension issue.
Now move all of the MS extennsions into a folder on the desktop.
Restart and open PowerPoint (Office will open "FirstRun" and reinstall necessary estension afresh).
Hope this helps
