Resources for metafile programming?

Can somebody point me to some good books/articles on metafiles and enhanced metafiles?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, I already did that, and only got three hits - two are out of print and the third looks like it's not specific to Windows metafiles. Any other ideas?

I don't know if you're a Visual Basic programmer or not, but if you are you should take a look at Dan Appleman's "Visual Basic 5.0 Programmer's Guide to the Win32 API." He covers the whole API in this book, but he goes into depth about metafiles/enhanced metafiles, with a sample program and a discussion of the various structures and file format. If you're interested, take a look at chapter 8.
Hope this helped.

PS: Do a search at Amazon with the following text:
"Graphics File Formats in Windows 95." I found several books when I did this. All the best.

Best source for me was MSDN, anything else is not worth it.
There is an example and a help file you should look into.
