Netmeeting will not work

We cannot get Netmeeting to work
I am running Win 98 on a PII 233 with ie4
My ISP is demon.co.uk
Netmeeting seems to run ok. i can log on to one of the servers
I can view a Dir. of others who are logged on, however i a never on the list and neither is the friend i want to contact (I know he is logged on as we can comunicate with 'Instant Messager'
also if i try to call anyone on the list i allways get the same error
'the person you are calling is not logged on ' etc.
Also if i try and call my friend by typing in his correct E-Mail i get the same error
i have set ie4 to 'release all'
Has anyone any ideas what is going wrong, Please

Get your friend to login and e-mail you their IP address (Start, Run, winipcfg - Should look like 000.00.000.00.) Unles they're running a server, it's different every time they log in, so you need to do it each time.
Don't bother logging on to MS network, just hook up to your provider. Hit CALL and enter their exact IP address only. Set to automatic and hey presto...
