Give each user a tab on the workspace to keep their database icons on it.  In order to prompt the users for their passwords, go to the personal address book and create a location document for each user.  In the advanced section of the location document there is a push button that will allow you to attach an id file.  With the id attached to the location document, every time a user clicks on the location box at the bottom right of the screen and changes location they will be prompted for their password.

I have tried that, but when i save the new location, it doesn't appear down in the list of locations. Any more suggestion as to what i might be doing wrong ?

Hi Itssbell,

What you need to do, is to give each person who wants to use notes a notes directory for himself (or a userdisk on the network). When you setup the laptop for multiple users, they get their own profile, so give them a notes icon and set the working directory (icon properties -> Start in) for that person to his own directory. Put his ID file and the initial notes.ini in this directory en let him run notes. This will result in that notes will pick the notes.ini from his working directoy and create his names.nsf (personal addressbook) and desktop.dsk (desktop settings) in his own directory.

Goodluck.....

Greetings Bob !!!
