I purchased Adobe's PageMill 2.0 for my Performa, I now have an iMac and when I install the program everything seems to be fine, but when I start the program everything freezes up. What's the problem? (OS 8.1)

Try starting up with extensions turned off.  You can do this in the extensions control panel or just hold the space key down when restarting.  you could try the apple standard set of extensions which i believe is an option in 8.1 if PM works fine without some or all of the extensions, you need to start adding the extensions you disabled one by one (rebooting each time).  Eventually you are likely to find a conflict.

Thanks, figured it was something like that, just haven't had the time to do the work. LOOKING FOR THE EASY WAY OUT!
