Where can I download any version of Linux?

Anything else would generally not be available for download, since it would probably be 500 MB or more.

Well I have been chancing my arm trying ftp://ftp.linux.com and other variants but it's useless...

Sorry scrap, but that URL was bad.  The page was like dead or something.
here you have different links to download SuSE 5.3

Try http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux (basically sunsite.unc.edu).

Take your pick. They have three distributions for download
