Flash Generator and passing variables via a Url

eg: URL = path/template_file.swt?var1=string1

Is there anything I have to do with flash, to get the variables passed via the url and appearing in the generated template dynamically?

I am not using a datasource. No template commands are set.

I have a text field sitting on it's own layer wrapped in curly brackets. {textfield}

I can't get it to work!

If I set the "Control > Settings" parameters to
"-param Variable Value"
it works fine whilst testing.

Can you submit variables via the URL?

If so what do I need to add to the <OBJECT> and <EMBED> tags?
