Voodoo Banshee Accelerator

I've just bought a Creative Voodoo Banshee 16MB graphics card. I have to say that after installing it I'm not noticing a lot of performance difference in Quake II. Does it require some tweaking? I had a 4MB S3 Virge in the PCI slot before changing to the Banshee
My system is a Cyrix 233mmx with 32 mb of ram. I've heard that the Cyrix chip is not the best for gaming.
I'd appreciate your thoughts.

hmmm...thats weird, the banshee chip is same or even better in some cases than the voodoo2

have you set the video option to "3Dfx gl"??
to do that, in your main menu goto video and you should see a option called "driver" change that to 3dfx gl and you should be fine

I tried that option and it didn't seem to make a big difference. Would the Cyrix Processor cause problems????

i doubt that a cyrix would make a big decrease in graphic performance.
Are your drivers installed properly?
Does it show up in the system devices?
Is the previous card still in your system?
Have you noticed any other improvments in games?
please answer these questions so i can help
