Anyone knows if Adaptec AHA2940 Ultra2 cards (2940U2W or 7890) are supported under solaris  x86 2.6 or 2.7? If so, then how can one get the drivers... suffering with Dell PowerEdge 2300... Thanks!

Sun keeps all patches and  updated drivers for Solaris x86 at the following location:

http://access1.sun.com/drivers/driverMain.html

There are three updates for Solaris x86 v2.6  Just download and apply.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info (it's actually just in time for another server). It looks like Sun didn't have the drivers until May... that _is_ disappointing.

Curiously enough, I posted the question on December (1998). I though it was dead!
